ENTRY CRITERIA
Arc 100, Arc 50 and Arc 25 are open to anyone who is at least 20 years old on the day of the race start. Arc 12 is open to anyone 17 years or older on the day of the race start:
- Arc 100. Born on or before 23 January 2006.
- Arc 50. Born on or before 24 January 2006.
- Arc 25. Born on or before 25 January 2006.
- Arc 12. Born on or before 25 January 2009.
To register for the Arc 100, Arc 50 and Arc 25 you must have experience in long distance races. It is important to be fully aware of the difficulty of the terrain and the need to be self-sufficient for long periods of time. Arc 100, Arc 50 and Arc 25 are not races for beginners in trail running.
Arc 100
The organisers recommend participants to have a UTMB® Index, that means a level of performance, of at least 380 in the 50K, 100K or 100M race category, to register for the Arc 100. This is the value at which the cut-off times are calculated. With an UTMB® Index below this value it is very likely the runner will not be able to arrive at the checkpoints on time as they will not be able to comply with the established cut-off times. It is advisable not to register for Arc 100 with a UTMB® Index below 380. Cut-off times are strictly enforced.
For further information on the UTMB® performance index CLICK HERE. To check your UTMB Index CLICK HERE.
Arc 50, Arc 25 and Arc 12
Participants registering for the Arc 50 do not need to have a UTMB® Index. However, the race still features difficult terrain and the potential for challenging weather conditions. Participants will need to meet the cut-off times in order to continue in the competition. Despite not requiring a UTMB® Index, participants must be prepared, both physically and mentally, for the race.
